Writing Macao:
creative text and teaching

Submissions are now sought for the first number of Writing Macao:creative
text and teaching, to appear in June of 2003. Contributions are
particularly sought in the area of theory and practice relating to the
teaching of creative writing in English in non-native contexts. The
deadline for papers is extended to 1st March, 2003. Submissions of creative
work towards future issues will also now be accepted.

PSYCHOLOGY AND THE POLITICAL:
INTERROGATING LIBERAL GEOCULTURE

Guest editor:
Dimitris Papadopoulos, Freie Universitaet Berlin, Germany

Articles are invited that consider the relations between psychology and
the political with particular respect to the interconnection between
psychology and contemporary liberal geoculture. We seek contributions
which attempt to address the question of post-liberal forms of social
organization and the role of psychology, if any, in these. Please
consider that the space in the special issue is limited. Deadline for
submissions is August 31, 2003.

African, Caribbean and American literatures have both the depth and
clarity of a true scholar-critic; metaphorically, D.S. Izevbaye is a
major pathfinder of contemporary critical practice in Africa and a
shining light whose propagation of critical excellence at Ibadan is as
influential as it is enviable.
