The conference takes place as part of the First Fictions literary festival, and is a collaborative venture between Sussex University and Myriad Editions, in association with Creative Brighton, and other partners in the creative arts. Conference panels will take place in conjunction with literary events and readings. The event will also include a new fiction competition (winner to be published by Myriad Editions), and a series of creative writing workshops run by new authors. Both conference and festival events will take place in the Pavilion Theatre and the Dome Concert Hall, in the heart of Brighton.
