Call For Papers for Shakespeare, the journal of
the British Shakespeare Association
Contributions are invited for the 2006 and 2007 issues
of the new journal entitled Shakespeare being published
Routledge. The journal brings together Shakespeare
scholarship and Shakespeare in performance in order
to open newly emergent debates across disciplines,
and is published online twice a year and in a bound paper volume
comprising two issues once a year. Contributions on all
topics and approaches to Shakespeare will be
considered. The articles selected will be peer-reviewed.

The Performance Studies Focus Group (PSFG) of the Association for Theatre in
Higher Education (ATHE) invites proposals for panels, seminars, roundtable
discussions, performances, workshops, and other innovative session formats
for the annual ATHE meeting, which will be held at the Palmer House Hilton
Hotel in Chicago from August 3-6, 2006.
This conference marks the twentieth anniversary of ATHE, and will be based
around the theme "Theatrical Milestones: Past Legacies, Present
Possibilities, Future Strategies." We encourage submissions that directly
relate to this particular theme, as well as submissions that engage with
this specific theme to expand and interrogate a wide range of projects. We

Call for Papers

Theatron, a semi-annual theatre journal published out of Washington University
in November and May, is currently accepting submissions, particularly from
graduate students, in five different categories:

-Scholarly papers on the subjects of dramatic literature, criticism, theory,
or performance. Submissions may be written in English, any Romance Language,
or German.
-New ten-minute plays or new translations of plays.
-Production reviews, reviews of new plays or books on the subject of drama.
-Interviews with theatre professionals.
-Letters to the editors.
