We are looking for a third contributor to round out a proposed panel on empathy and modernism for the 2011 Modernist Studies Association conference in Buffalo. Please send 250-word abstracts for papers exploring problems of "thinking with" or "feeling with" others in modernism, along with a short cv, to mmh340@nyu.edu by Monday, April 11. We welcome papers on any modernist topic, but especially those treating the visual arts.
