Post Identity, an international, fully-refereed journal of the humanities,
publishes scholarship that examines the narratives underlying individual,
social, and cultural identity formations; that investigates the relationship
between identity formations and texts; and that argues how such formations can
be challenged.

In print since 1997, Post Identity has partnered with the University of
Michigan's Scholarly Publishing Office to transform itself into an audio-,
graphic-, and video-enhanced web-based journal that can make available the new
forms and subjects of contemporary critiques of identity, as well as more
traditional text-based scholarship.

Post Identity is currently accepting multi-media and text-based projects for
Issue 4.2, Winter 2004. Complete submission are due June 30, 2004; however,
earlier submissions are encouraged. As an interdisciplinary publication, we
welcome a variety of theoretical perspectives and encourage submissions from
all fields for which the critique of identity is of vital and central concern.
The journal and submission guidelines are available at
http://liberalarts.udmercy.edu/pi/. Inquiries can be sent to Prof. Rosemary
Weatherston at weatherr_at_udmercy.edu.
