The Gothic in Literature, Film and Culture (11/1/05; PCA/ACA,
4/12/06-4/15/06)

NATIONAL POPULAR & AMERICAN CULTURE
ASSOCIATIONS 2005 JOINT CONFERENCE

April 12-15, 2006
Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Atlanta, GA 30303
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 1, 2005

We welcome papers and presentations on any aspect of the Gothic in film,
literature, or other forms of cultural expression. All critical
approaches are welcome.

You can propose an individual paper or a panel session of three or four
presenters.

Individual papers will be grouped into sessions based on historical,
thematic, disciplinary or critical affinities. Participants will be
asked to serve as session chairs. Sessions are scheduled in
hour-and-a-half slots, ideally with four papers or speakers per standard
session, so individual papers should be limited to a length of
approximately 15 minutes.

Please submit a one-page (150-250 word) proposal or abstract for each
paper via e-mail or regular mail by November 1, 2005, to:
