CALL FOR PAPERS: Geoffrey Hill and His Contexts

This two-day conference will be held on 2 and 3 July, 2008, at Keble College,
Oxford â€" Geoffrey Hill’s alma mater, and the college of which he is an
Honorary Fellow. Kenneth Haynes, John Lyon, and Peter McDonald are confirmed
as speakers, and Geoffrey Hill will give a reading from his work, on 3 July.

Proposals for papers and for panel sessions which place Geoffrey Hill’s work
within any of its contexts â€" its historical, theological, philosophical, or
literary contexts, for instance â€" are now invited. Proposals of not more than
300 words, for papers of not more than 20 minutes, should be sent to the
conference’s organisers, at proposals_at_geoffreyhillconference.com, by 15
February, 2008.
