Submissions are currently being solicited by a leading publisher in India
for a collection of scholarly essays on American literature since 1945.
The editors are particularly interested in concise, tightly argued essays
that offer critical readings of novels, short stories, poetry or drama
from a philosophical perspective, though all topics will be considered.

Submissions should be around 5000 words in length (roughly 10 pages) and
in MLA format. Please send essays (in Word) or inquiries to Dr. Benjamin
Carson at benjamin.carson_at_gmail.com and Dr. G. Balakrishnan at
ganesanbalan_at_yahoo.com. All submissions will be acknowledged. The
