The Midwest Popular Culture Association / Midwest American Culture
Association seeks papers on any aspect of collaborative online
technologies such as blogs, wikis, social networking software, tagging
and folksonomies.

Possible topics include:

*Issues of authority in Web 2.0
*Bottom-up technologies in top-down institutions
*Social networking on Facebook and MySpace
*YouTube, Flickr, Google Images, and the new visual vocabulary
*Lowerarchies: tagging and folksonomies
*WikiFolk or Fauna
*Prosumption: collapse of production/consumption in Web 2.0
