Vitalpoetics: A Journal of Critical Literary Theory is now seeking submissions for Vol.2 No.3 to be
published in 2009. Vitalpoetics is a journal of critical literary theory. Our objective is to promote key
ideas in the field through close analysis, always holding that literature and its theory are connected
to the social, cultural and political contexts that give rise to it. We will consider papers from any
disciplinary approach that examine the political and social circumstances in which literature is
produced. Please submit a 500 word abstract. Visit the website for more details

What are we waiting for? What awaits us? While often dismissed as a period of wastefulness or
lost time, waiting may also intensify experience and become a condition in which to consider
questions of modernity, aesthetic process, politics, erotics and the tempos of everyday life.
