CFP: [Collections] Journal Issue on Indian Novelists

The December 2009 issue of the Journal of Contemporary Literature will be
devoted to articles on contemporary Indian novelists, including novelists
of the Indian diaspora.

Articles should be between 3,000 and 8,000 words, including notes.
Documentation should follow MLA guidelines. Analyses of individual works,
thematic surveys of multiple works, as well as comparative treatments of
Indian and non-Indian novels, are welcome.

The issue will be refereed. The deadline for submissions is September 30,
2009. Articles should be submitted, as Word attachments, to the issue
editor, Martin Kich, at martin.kich_at_wright.edu

The Journal of Contemporary Literature is published in Allahabad, India.
Its general editors are Prof. A. N. Dwivedi, Chairman of the Department of
English, Taiz University, Yemen, and Prof. Allesandro Monti, Chairman,
Department of Oriental Studies, Turin University, Italy. Martin Kich is a
Professor of English at Wright State University’s Lake Campus.
