Proposals are sought for the 2009 MLA Convention, which will be held in
Philadelphia, PA.

NEW APPROACHES TO TRANSLATION STUDIES

Many new applications and explorations in translation studies have been
undertaken in the last decade, suggesting that scholars have much yet to
explore in this field.

Papers on visual and/or written texts are welcome; theoretical innovations
are encouraged.

Send 250-word abstracts to Sandra Hordis (hordis_at_arcadia.edu) by March 13.
