From the schoolyards to the far reaches of the earth, terrorism has become one of the largest problems humankind faces in our modern world. Terrorism takes on many forms; psychological bullying, personal insults, abuse of political power, religious intolerance, race and gender slurs. The product of terrorism is fear and hatred and can possibly spin itself into a web of physical violence against individuals, groups and entire nations.

Most of us have dealt with terrorism in some form. Intimidation from peers, teachers, opponents, co-workers, religious leaders has become commonplace. From childhood to adulthood, it leaks into every corner of life, presenting itself in abuse of the elderly, domestic violence, family in-fighting, and political terrorism.

This 1st Global Session on Terrorism is of interest to teachers, students, scholars, psychologists, legal professionals, political activists, historians, and business professionals; it affects everyone at some point in their lives. You are cordially invited to submit your abstract and subsequent paper on the subject of terrorism. As this is such a vast subject, your abstract can touch on any subject matter that deals with terrorism.

Some areas of concern are:

4. Domestic Violence
5. Elderly Abuse
6. Genocide
7. Political Terrorism
8. Blackmail
9. Ethnic Cleansing
10. Human Rights

Please submit your paper on any of these subjects or any other material that compliments the topic of Terrorism in any form.

Once your abstract and payment is received, your abstract will be published on this site on the corresponding session page. You will receive confirmation of the receipt of your abstract. Email is checked each hour during business hours. If it has been more than 24 hours without receipt of confirmation, assume that your abstract did not arrive and please forward it again.

Upon the deadline, all abstract posts will close for new entries and the next deadline becomes due. This is for the presentation of your 8-10 page paper based on your abstract. This is the paper that will become a part of the full-length eBook which contains all papers from all participants. The deadline to submit your 8-10 page paper is September 30, 2010. You are also invited to participate in the hard copy version of the presented papers. An extended version of your paper will be required with a suggested length of 16-24 pages.
