SCMLA American Literature II: Literature After 1900 (Priority Deadline March 30)

full name / name of organization:
South Central Modern Language Association

The organizers are still accepting proposals for the American Literature II session at this year's convention of the South Central Modern Language Association, to be held in San Antonio, TX, November 8-10, 2012. We are interested in seeing proposals for 15-minute papers on any topic related to American literature since 1900. Potential presenters are encouraged to keep in mind and incorporate this year's conference theme, "Death, Eros & the Literary Enterprise," but this is an open topic panel -- all proposals will be read with interest.

To propose a paper, please submit a roughly 500-word abstract to the session chair, Ryan Crider (ryan.crider@southlouisiana.edu). Proposals received by March 30, 2012, will be given first priority. After the deadline, please inquire before submitting.
