Special Issue on Bangladesh Diplomacy in the Age of Globalization
The Journal of International Relations (JIR) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of International Relations, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The editorial team of JIR is seeking original articles for a special issue on Bangladesh Diplomacy in the Age of Globalization.
• Deadline for Abstract Submission: Saturday, August 31, 2013
• Deadline for Full Paper Submission: Saturday, November 16, 2013.
We invite manuscripts on diverse topics including the following:
• Climate Diplomacy
• Cultural Diplomacy
• Economic Diplomacy
• Governance, Migration and Development Diplomacy
• Maritime Diplomacy
• Negotiations and International Institutions
• Security Diplomacy [Counterterrorism, Peace keeping, Peace building, and Preventive Diplomacy]
• Trade Diplomacy
• Water Diplomacy
Manuscript and editorial communications should be directed to editor.jir@gmail.com.
Manuscript should be in MS Word (doc) or text-rich (rtf) format, Times New Roman, size 12 and double-spaced. All pages (including those containing only diagrams and tables) should be numbered consecutively.
The maximum word limit for articles is 10,000 words, including footnotes and figures. The article must begin with an intended and italicized abstract of around 150 words, which should clearly state the main arguments and conclusions of the articles and the methodology used.
