The Ernest J. Gaines Society invites proposals for papers on any aspect of the work of Ernest J. Gaines for the Gaines Society's sessions at the American Literature Association Annual Conference. Please send a proposal (300 to 500 words) and a short CV to Marcia Gaudet at mgaudet@louisiana.edu by January 15, 2015. All relevant proposals will be considered. The American Literature Association's 26th annual conference will meet at the Westin Copley Place in Boston on May 21-24, 2015 (Thursday through Sunday of Memorial Day weekend). The deadline for proposals is January 30, 2015. Please note: The January 30, 2015, deadline is for proposals to the conference director for the general program. Proposals for sessions sponsored by author societies should follow the guidelines and deadlines posted for each society. As noted above, the proposal deadline for the Ernest J.
