The Urban Studies Area of The Midwest Popular Culture Association/Midwest American Culture Association is now accepting proposals for its upcoming Conference in October 2016.
Proposals will be accepted from any area relating to urban studies. Potential topics could include, but are not limited to:
• Bioregionalism
• Architecture
• Problems/challenges with in urban communities
• Literary representations of the city
• Gentrification
• Gendered issues within urban spaces/communities
• Redefining urban concepts of space/place
Please upload 250 word abstract proposals on any aspect of urban studies culture to the Urban Studies Area at http://submissions.mpcaaca.org/
