CFP: Biblical Visions in Literature for PAMLA Conference 2017 Honolulu, Hawaii (11/10-12/2017)
This session seeks papers on literature that explicitly or implicitly retell, or allude to, or comment on: Jewish visions, acts of hearing and seeing, from the Hebrew Bible and post-biblical texts: Canonical or non-canonical Christian visions, as well as the writings of the saints. Jewish and Christian texts are the speaking voice of the divine that let us see the divine.
Individual paper presentations will be between 15 and 20 minutes long. Please submit proposals via the online system by June 26, 2017. The PAMLA 2017 Conference will be held at the lovely Chaminade University of Honolulu (with the official conference hotel being the Ala Moana) from Friday, November 10 to Sunday, November 12.
