Papers are sought for a session at the 2017 conference of the Theoretical Archaeology Group (TAG) on relationships between poetry and archaeology. The conference will take place in Cardiff from Monday 18 - Wednesday 20 December, 2017. Sessions usually involve 4-8 papers, and that there is the possibility of making a whole-day session if there are enough strong proposals. (The conference allows people to present papers in up to two sessions: the others are listed at http://tag2017cardiff.org/sessions/ )

Many of our current cultural practices are marked by a union of art and entertainment. Underlined by all-pervasive processes of globalization and digitalization, this union comes in all shapes and sizes, transforming culture so that it can no longer be comfortably classified as high or low, art or genre. Surprisingly, this ‘art of artertainment’ has not, as yet, attracted much scholarly interest. It is with the aim of overcoming this omission that we launch this call for papers.

Interactions (ISSN 1300-574-X) is an international journal in print format featuring essays on British and American Language, Literature, Culture and Translation Studies published annually by Ege University Depts. of British and American Studies (Izmir/Turkey).

It is blind refereed by international scholars and indexed in MLA International Bibliography, Gale Cengage Learning and EBSCO, subscribed by the British Library and the Harvard University Library.

Articles (4000-8000 words) and reviews (1000-2000 words) should follow MLA parenthetical citation format.
