UNC Charlotte’s English Graduate Student Association Presents

“All Roads Lead to Roam”

Interdisciplinary Studies in the New Millennium

February 2, 2018

Education is about exploration, and as we pursue our interests and passions, we find ourselves roaming the landscape of the current studies in our field while presenting our new ideas.

The EGSA of UNC Charlotte is hosting a graduate conference exploring current thinking about interdisciplinary studies and their role in the past, present, and future. We welcome scholarly and creative original papers, readings, and presentations that examine interdisciplinary topics within general and children’s literature, creative writing, English education, linguistics, rhetoric, composition, and technical writing.

These topics might include, but are not limited to:

• Cultural Diversity • Postmodernism • Racial Diversity

• Feminism • Sexuality • Queer Theory • Visual Studies

• Science Studies • Film Studies • New Media • Ecocriticism • Etc.

Please send abstracts of 250 – 300 words along with your name, institutional affiliation, and field of study to egsa@uncc.edu by December 15, 2017.

Please include the title of your abstract in your submission
