Bowen-Thompson Student UnionCall for ProposalsThe organizers of the 18th Annual Black Issues Conference invite proposals for presentations. The committee invites a broad array of proposals related to Black issues, and especially encourages presentations and creative works on contemporary African American art, politics, race in higher education, gender, and the representation of Black culture. Undergraduate and graduate students are particularly encouraged to present their work. Presentations can take the form of a paper or PowerPoint presentation, a roundtable discussion, an artistic exhibition, or a performance. The committee encourages proposals such as research studies, creative work, and works in progress. Visual creative works (e.g., painting, ceramics, photography) may also be displayed during the conference.If you are interested in presenting, please submit your abstract (summary of your presentation) and the
