Please submit 200 to 300-word abstracts, with title, for 15-minute papers/presentations on pedagogical approaches to grading multimodal assignments.

Panel ID: 17372

Panel Description:

Traditional print-based grading criteria and approaches no longer seem to fit new multimodal assignments today and often provide little help toward building student multimodal skills. It is time to begin developing the multimodal criteria and grading practices to prepare our students for communicating in their academic and professional futures. This panel seeks to explore how we develop and construct multimodal assignment grading through the lenses of various theoretical perspectives and pedagogical practices, and the issues surrounding our approaches.
