The Ramones: Ambiguous Influence

Editor invites proposals or completed, previously unpublished essays for a scholarly anthology on the cultural influence of the Ramones (contract pending with McFarland).

Proposals should demonstrate a strong thesis and a clearly articulated critical approach, as well as familiarity with the music of the Ramones and any related punk rock bands and punk rock scenes. In this collection, the editor hopes to showcase well-researched, scholarly work covering a variety of disciplinary approaches and insights. Possible topics include but are not limited to:
