Wreck Park Submission Deadline Extended
A Journal of Interesting Literatures and Interested Criticism
A literary journal run out of Binghamton, New York, Wreck Park publishes original work in cultural studies, poetry, and the visual arts. The journal is committed both to critical-theoretical and historically engaged analysis, and it seeks work that contemplates in creative ways contemporary debates in and around the humanities. Contributions that tie together past and present, that resonate with our current social and political maelstrom, are especially encouraged.
The journal seeks critical submissions, timely interviews, and / or sophisticated book reviews for its Summer 2019 issue. The submission deadline has been extended to 4 March 2019.
Critical manuscripts typically run between 4,000 and 8,000 words and need to follow The Chicago Manual Style, 16th edition, with endnotes and a bibliography.
Book reviews should not exceed 2,000 words, though longer review articles are welcome. A review article should not only take a critical position on the work but also introduce a thesis that contributes to scholarship in the given field.
The editors request that potential contributors visit the journal to get a better understanding of what we have published in the past. We also highly welcome any questions about potential reviews, interviews, or essays – please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
