Queering Food Studies

Dates of the conference - January 9th-12th 2020
Overview - To expand the dialogue on Food Studies, this special session will examine the queer dimensions of food phenomena and welcomes critical interventions that explore how the queer contexts of food intersect with diversity, equity, and inclusion. Likewise, this session welcomes projects that make use of intersectional and/or interdisciplinary approaches. Transnational and Global studies scholars are encouraged to contribute too. Please send abstracts of 250-500 words and a brief biography to Dr. Ed Chamberlain at - e c 1 0 @ u w . e d u - by March 9th 2019.
