Great Writing International Creative Writing Conference
Saturday July 11 – Sunday July 12, 2020
Imperial College, London

Proposals are invited for presentations at the 23rd Annual Great Writing International Creative Writing Conference, to be held Saturday July 11 – Sunday July 12, 2020 at Imperial College, London, UK.

Proposals for presentation of critical work about creative writing or for creative presentations (e.g. readings) are equally welcome. 

Great Writing regularly includes research, teaching and creative writing practice topics. And more! In this 23rd year of the conference, the range of topics is likely to be as vibrant as ever.

1.            Single presentations: 20 minutes, 10 minutes questions.
2.           3 person presentations/panels: 90 minutes in total.

(Proposals: 150 word description of your presentation – abstracts are published in the conference programme. Include: title, 100 word bio note, for quotes use single inverted commas, italicize book titles)

Closing Date for Submissions: Sunday November 17 2019

Proposals will be peer-reviewed.

The conference will also feature the 10th Annual New Writing International Creative Writing Event. More details on the 2020 conference will be found at www.greatwriting.org.uk

Following the first call, further Great Writing calls can appear throughout any year – only until all presenter places are filled. Early submission is therefore encouraged.
