As Artificial Intelligence becomes an integral part of higher education, AI literacy is increasingly recognized as a foundational competency for students, educators, researchers, and institutions. This seminar explores the knowledge, skills, values, and ethical considerations required for responsible and effective engagement with AI in academic contexts.

Guided by the UNESCO AI Competency Framework for Teachers and informed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this seminar invites proposals addressing topics including, but not limited to:

• AI literacy frameworks and competencies in higher education
• AI literacy for assessment and academic integrity
• AI literacy for teaching and instructional design
• AI literacy for student learning and academic success
• Ethical and responsible AI use in research and scholarship
• Institutional policies and governance for AI integration
• Faculty and student perceptions of AI literacy
• AI literacy and digital inclusion
• AI literacy and educational equity
• Professional development for AI-ready educators
• Critical AI literacy and human-centered AI
• International and cross-cultural perspectives on AI literacy

We welcome empirical studies, theoretical papers, policy analyses, case studies, and practitioner perspectives that contribute to understanding the role of AI literacy in shaping the future of higher education.
