CFP: [Film] Framed and Spliced: Hollywood's Search for "The Story" in History

Steven Spielbergâ€™s version of a 50s con artist in Catch Me If You Can,
Hollywood has searched for â€œthe storyâ€ in history, reorganizing the
chronology of events to sell history on the Big Screen . How fictive is
history on the Big Screen?
Proposals are being accepted for the Historical Fiction Area of the 2009
SW/TX PCA/ACA Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Hyatt Regency
downtown from Feb 25-28. All proposals and abstracts of 250 words or less
are welcome. Please include your Vita. First major deadline is Nov 15.
