One additional 20-min paper is needed for a panel on this topic for the
American Literature Association Symposium on American Fiction (Savannah,
GA, 2-4 Oct 2008). See americanliterature.org for more info on the
conference. This CFP is to supplement a paper on 2-D art from the 20s and
one on textile arts. We are open to many interpretations of this topic.
