40th Anniversary Convention, Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA)
Feb. 26-March 1, 2009

Pascalâ€™s PensÃ©es and Literature. Is Pascalâ€™s PensÃ©es a literary text? The
goal of this panel is to think about the essence of literature and the
interpretations and appropriations of PensÃ©es. Comparative works between
Pascal and other writers are also welcome (in French, English, or Spanish).

Interested participants may submit abstracts to more than one NeMLA panel;
however panelists can only present one paper. Convention participants may
present a paper at a panel or seminar and also present at a creative
session or participate in a roundtable.
