"Emerson and the Quotidian Life"

In concert with the Thoreau Gathering's 2007 theme, "'Simplify, simplify:'
Thoreau's Timeless Message," for its panel the Emerson Society solicits
papers that explore the ethos, philosophy, and/or practice of simplicity in
Emerson's life and writings. 300 word abstracts by December 22 to Joe
Thomas (jthomas_at_caldwell.edu).
