I am seeking Editors of E-only Journals (not just adjunct websites to
journals that are primarily conceived of as print) who would like to
participate with me in a digital roundtable at the Modern Language
Association (MLA) Conference in Philadelphia, 27–30 December, 2009. Digital
roundtables are new to the MLA: editors and potential contributors and
readers will meet in a room with eight or so networked computers. Editors
could display recent issues of their journals, talk to potential
contributors and discuss the problem of taking e-scholarship seriously.
I would like as broad a range of journals as possible from all areas of
English and Modern Language Studies. Again, I am NOT interested in those
websites closely associated with a print journal; I am interested only in
journals that have been online (whether on the web, gopher, or elsewhere)
and only available in digital editions.
Please submit editor contact and the journal's URL to kdorwick_at_yahoo.com;
Contact Keith Dorwick, co-editor of Technoculture, a new e-journal located
at http://tcjournal.org (a new CFP for Vol 2 will be forthcoming in a few
weeks), for more information. I am open to suggestions and contact
information for other editors would be useful.
