**The deadline for submissions to the literature and psychology session
of the SCMLA has been extended to Friday, March 27th.**

Submissions are currently being accepted for the Literature and
Psychology session of the 66th annual South Central Modern Language
Association conference, October 29th through the 31st in Baton Rouge,
LA. In keeping with this year's theme of "Continuity and Displacements",
we're seeking papers that explore psychological continuity within a
text. Texts that explore displacement, trauma studies, and anxiety will
be given preference, but submissions on any number of topics are highly
encouraged.

Please email 100-200 word abstracts to rfields_at_siu.edu by Friday,
March 27th for full consideration.
