2009 Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association (RMMLA) Convention at Cliff
Lodge in Snowbird, Utah
October 8-10, 2009

The panel on ‘The Interpretation and Influence of Greek Myths’ is seeking
proposals for 15-20 min. presentations. Papers may explore a wide range of
topics pertaining to Greek myths, whether in ancient Greek literature or
later literature in any language or period influenced by them; they may
treat the use of these myths in a variety of genres and types of discourse,
from poetry to philosophy and traditional narrative to nonfiction.

To submit a proposal, send an abstract of up to 300 words in .doc or .pdf
format to nikkanen_at_fas.harvard.edu. The deadline for proposals is March
1, 2009.

Non-RMMLA members may propose a paper to a session chair, but membership in
RMMLA is required of all presenters by April 1. Requests for audiovisual
equipment are due by May 1. Participation at the convention also requires
payment of a convention registration fee (registration opens in mid-summer;
early discount rates available).
