The SCMLA Gothic session is now accepting proposals for the 2009 conference
to be held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (10/29/09-10/31/09). Any presentation
that deals with gothic literature is welcome, but considering the locale,
topics that explore the gothic traditions of Louisiana (from Marie Laveau
and Bras Coupé to _True Blood_ and Anne Rice and beyond) are especially
welcome.

Please submit proposals for fifteen to twenty minute presentations to
Christopher Bundrick at <cbundric_at_mailbox.sc.edu>.
