Feb. 26-March 1, 2009
Hyatt Regency - Boston, Massachusetts

In describing the American male protagonist in pre-feminist literature
and popular culture, critics from D.H. Lawrence to Leslie Fiedler and
Marshall McLuhan have remarked on his violence and isolation. However,

novels or films produced since 1980. Send brief abstracts in body of
email to Elizabeth Abele: AbeleE_at_ncc.edu
