The Humanities Review, a graduate publication of the St. John's University
English department, seeks artistic cover art submissions for its Spring
2009 edition. The theme is Relocating the Avant-Garde, especially in
regards to the concept of Hope. Pieces should reflect whatever currently
defines the avant-garde or experimental in subject or technique.

Submissions for the cover of the journal can be in any 2D visual medium:
photography, drawing, painting, etc. Black and white or limited color
palate is encouraged.

The due date is March 15, 2009. Please submit .tiff images of the piece
electronically to sjuhumanities_at_gmail.com or ship to the following address:
