Please note that the new due date for abstracts is October 15, 2006. 24th Annual New England Medieval Studies Consortium Graduate Student Conference "The Medieval World: From the Secular to the Spiritual" Plenary Speaker: James Simpson, Harvard University Professor of English and American Literature and Language; Life Fellow, Girton College Cambridge; Honorary Fellow, Australian Academy of the Humanities Abstracts from graduate students are now being accepted on all topics concerning late antiquity through the late Middle Ages. We strongly encourage papers from a variety of disciplines, including, but not limited to: Anthropology Archaeology Art History Classical Studies Comparative In addition to the general sessions, sponsored sessions include (details on topics can be found on the web site): We encourage submissions appropriate for these sponsored sessions. If you would like to be considered for one of them, please make a note on your abstract. Papers are to be no more than 20 minutes long and read in English.
