The Cormac McCarthy Society will sponsor two sessions at the American
Literature Association Conference in Boston, May 21-24, 2009. The first
session is entitled "Cormac McCarthy and the History of Ideas," and the
second is entitled "Teaching McCarthy: Literature, Violence, and the
Undergraduate Classroom." Please submit 1-2 page proposals via email to
Dr. Steven Frye at California State University, Bakersfield,
sfrye_at_csub.edu.
