CFP: [Graduate] Panel CFP on "Memoir" for (dis)junctions graduate conference
Contributors are invited to submit critical works on how memoirs are
constructed, effective, and affect? What place has memoir in e-societies
that allow for near- instantaneous transmission of images and words?
Some Possible Topics May Include:
post-modernity and memoir
bodies as memoir
memoir and technology
memoir and history
the use of pseudo-memoir (such as Steinâ€™s Autobiography of Alice B.
Toklas or Yourcenarâ€™s Memoirs of Hadrian)
memoir and trauma
memoir and mechanized transport
memoir and identity, gender, race, ethnicity
the reader and memoir
Abstracts of 250-300 words should be emailed to
alan.lovegreen_at_email.ucr.edu by February 15, 2008 (text in the body of
the message; please no attachments).
