Call for Papers on Willa Cather: ALA 2009, May 21-24, Boston

The Willa Cather Foundation is now seeking 20-minute papers for
presentation in two panels devoted specifically to Cather scholarship at
the American Literature Association meeting in Boston, May 21-24, 2009.

Topics: We seek the best and most innovative of ongoing Cather
scholarship, and all topics and approaches are welcomed. Papers may also
be considered for publication in the Willa Cather Newsletter and Review,
at their authors' discretion.

of 300-500 words to John Swift (, ECLS Department,

Deadline for proposals: To be considered for these sessions: Monday,
January 5, 2009 (but they are welcome at any earlier time).

General Conference Information: The American Literature Association’s
20th annual conference will meet at the Westin Copley Place in Boston on
May 21-24, 2009 (Thursday through Sunday of Memorial Day weekend). The
deadline for all proposals is January 30, 2009. For further information,
