Time's Arrow Press is a new independent publishing company that
specializes in academic Festschriften—collections of essays in honor or
memory of individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to
scholarship and teaching in the Humanities.

Each Time's Arrow Festschrift aims to have the following features:
*A unifying theme or specific topic that will allow the volume to stand
alone as a relevant and innovative contribution to the discipline
* Essays of the highest scholarly standard from authors who all share a
personal or professional connection to the honoree
* A prefatory essay introducing the scholarly themes and content of the
volume
* A special section on the honoree, including an essay on the life, an
essay offering an interpretive overview of the scholarly contributions,
an authoritative bibliography, a section of brief personal appreciations
and comments from friends and colleagues, and two photographs

If you would like to consider editing a Festschrift for someone, we
invite you to send us a proposal. Please include a statement of the
honoree's importance to you personally and to your discipline, a
description of the book's proposed content and a brief analysis of how
it differs from other relevant works in the field, a list of committed
or likely authors and the topics of their essays, and a projected
timetable for the project.
