The Northeast MLA (NEMLA) Convention will meet in Buffalo from April 10 to
April 13, 2008.

This panel seeks to address the relationship between the representation of
space and the use of space in medieval culture. Papers on concepts of
medieval space in literature, architecture, social customs, and other
aspects of material culture as well as papers that address the link between
two concepts of space (say, between the holy space and vernacular or
courtly literature) are welcome.

Please send abstracts to Christopher Roman at croman2_at_kent.edu by September
15, 2007. Please include with your abstract: Name and Affiliation / Email
address / Postal address / Telephone number / A/V requirements.

If accepted, presenters must become members of NEMLA by November 30, 2007.
