Colleagues of David Fowler at the University of Washington, with the co-sponsorship of the
Lollard Society and the Yearbook of Langland Studies, have arranged a series of sessions in his
memory at the 2008 International Congress on Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University.
The Kalamazoo conference will be in session from 8-11 May. We have scheduled three different
sessions, on topics of particular interest to David and to which he made significant contributions
in the course of his highly productive scholarly career: the first is on Piers Plowman, another on
John Trevisa, and the third on the Bible and Literature.
