CALL FOR ARTICLES

The Journal of Medieval Religious Cultures (JMRC), an inter-disciplinary
periodical set to be published in the spring of 2009 by a major
university press, invites submissions of articles on any aspect of
religious traditions in medieval Europe, broadly conceived, as well as
their relations to cultures outside Europe. Interdisciplinary work is
particularly welcome.

JMRC is a continuation of Mystics Quarterly, published since 1984, itself
a continuation of the 14th Century English Mystics Newsletter, founded in
1974. Given its historical roots in studies in mysticism, JMRC will
continue to publish scholarship on all aspects of English and continental
mysticism.

Please send submissions, preferably in MS Word format and conforming to
the Chicago Manual of Style (15th ed.), to jmrc_at_uconn.edu or by
conventional mail:

For manuscripts submitted via conventional mail, please include three
copies. As submissions will be sent out for blind review, please include
a separate title page and remove your name and affiliation from the first
page of the manuscript proper, as well as from subsequent headers and
footers. We have revamped our review procedures and will respond with a
decision within a maximum of three months, or sooner.

JMRC is also looking for qualified book reviewers. If you are interested
in reviewing for us, please send your cv, along with a list of interests,
to Dr. John Sexton via email (John.Sexton_at_bridgew.edu) or conventional
mail:
