Tha Applied Linguistics Section is welcoming papers from scholars for its
session at the 51st M/MLA Convention in St Louis, MO. the topic for this
year is: SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION IN A MULTICULTURAL CONTEXT

Participants will explore the issue of second language acquisition in a
multicultural context as it applies to the teaching and/or learning of a
second language. Topics on language acquisition (first or foreign
language acquisition) and/or Applied Linguistics in general are also
welcome.
