We seek papers which discuss poets and philosophers who think out loud in improvisatory speech.
We are also interested in methods of transcription that render speech on the page. Possible topics
include: Wittgenstein’s Cambridge lectures; Warhol’s “marriage” to his tape-recorder; David Antin’s
talk-poems; Kenneth Goldsmith’s transcribed projects; Native American and other culturally distant
oral poetries. When possible, we encourage participants to present audio recordings.

By October 1, 2007, send a 250-word abstract to Jon Cotner (j.cotner_at_rocketmail.com) and to
