Late Imperial Chinese Women’s Writings
St. Olaf College, Minnesota: October 10-12, 2008
This panel invites papers covering Chinese Women’s writings in the Ming
(1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. Topics may include, but are not
limited to:

1. Women’s transgression such as transvestism in literary works
2. “Talented women” or “cainü” culture
3. women’s writings and literati
4. individual writers or works
5. women’s anthology studies
6. women’s poetry clubs and occasional writings
