The University of Dayton English Department is asking for academic and
creative submissions for LitFest 2009: Coming to Voice Together: Literacy,
Poetry, and Community. Submissions should focus on the themes addressed in
the conference title and be no longer than 8 pages, suitable for a 20
minute reading in a conference setting. Confirmed readers include Janet
McAdams (Kenyon College), Jeff Gundy (Bluffton College), and Ruth Ellen
Kocher (University of Colorado, Boulder). The University of Dayton Litfest
is scheduled for March 27-29 2009 on the campus of the University of
Dayton. Submission postmark deadline is February 10, 2009.

Please send a brief cover letter that includes a short biography, an
abstract of your project/creative presentation, and an email address to the
