CFP: [Postcolonial] Im/migration in Women's Literature

Abstracts and/or papers are sought for the Women of Color Session at the
2008 SCMLA conference held in San Antonio, TX, November 6-8. In keeping
with the conference theme of “Borders,” the title of this session
is “Im/migration in Women’s Literature.”

This panel seeks to engage a diversity of critical and theoretical
approaches as represented by Gloria Anzaldua, Homi K. Bhabha, Gayatri
Spivak, Trinh T. Minh-ha, Cheryl A. Wall, and others. Paper may
contemplate im/migration tropes in both literal and imagines spaces.

Please send 200-300 word abstracts electronically as Word documents to
Ravyn Wilson-Bernard (bernardr_at_wabash.edu).

Abstract are due by March 14, 2008.
Presenters must join SCMLA by May12, 2008.
